Who this page applies to

This notice applies to residents of the United States, and especially to California residents, whose personal information is processed by Azimut AI under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and its California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) amendments. Residents of the European Union should refer to our GDPR privacy policy instead; both regimes can apply to the same visitor.

Who we are

Azimut AI — a French legal entity headquartered in Paris, France. We operate azimut-ai.com and its subdomains. For privacy inquiries: privacy@azimut-ai.com.

Categories of information we collect

Identifiers — email address, account ID, IP address (collection at sign-up).
Commercial information — subscription tier, billing history (via Lemon Squeezy).
Geolocation (coarse) — ZIP code + lat/lon derived from the ZIP you enter. Not real-time device geolocation.
Inference data — autonomy score and product recommendations we compute from your inputs.
Internet / network activity — anonymized page views via Plausible Analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking).

We do not collect biometric identifiers, precise geolocation, sensitive personal information (SSN, precise financial account, health data), or information about minors under 16.

Sale and sharing of personal information

We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined in CCPA § 1798.140(ad) and (ah). We do not receive any monetary or other valuable consideration in exchange for your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

California residents have the right to direct us not to sell or share their personal information. Because we do not engage in either activity, no opt-out is required — but if you wish to formally record an opt-out on your account, contact privacy@azimut-ai.com and we will log it.

Your CCPA / CPRA rights

Right to know what categories of personal information we have collected about you and for what purposes.
Right to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal retention exceptions.
Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (see above — we do neither).
Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect such information.
Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of the above rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@azimut-ai.com from the email address on your account, or include enough information for us to verify your identity if contacting us from a different address. We respond within 45 days as required by CCPA § 1798.130.

Authorized agents

You may authorize another person to submit a request on your behalf. We will require (a) written authorization signed by you, and (b) proof of the agent's identity, before processing the request.

Retention

Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years for billing and tax reconciliation. Anonymized analytics aggregates are retained indefinitely. You may request deletion of identifiable data at any time.

Changes to this notice

Material changes will be posted here with the "Last updated" date revised. Non-material changes (formatting, links, attribution) may be made without notice.
