About Azimut AI
Updated
Azimut AI is a French web app that measures a home's self-sufficiency — energy, water, food and heating — in every commune of France (≈ 35,000) from public data (PVGIS, ADEME, INRAE, Hub'Eau), and turns a French energy certificate (DPE) into a costed renovation plan, grants included. The score, the calculator and the natural-hazard check are free; a detailed report is paid — the action plan with 30 days of full access costs €39 including VAT in France (the price that applies is the one shown at checkout).
What you can do for free
- The home self-sufficiency score: energy, water, food and heating from a postcode; the full assessment, PDF report included, in exchange for an email address.
- The home self-sufficiency calculator (in French): the score per dimension and what would improve it.
- The energy-certificate analysis: an uploaded certificate becomes a list of costed works and estimated grants — free with an account.
- The natural-hazard check (in French, for addresses in France): no account needed.
- The self-sufficiency map and the commune pages.
- Azimut Nomad: the same reasoning for vans, sailboats, bikes and treks.
- The courses, open to all: home self-sufficiency and nomad self-sufficiency.

What Azimut AI is not
- Not a certified assessor. Azimut AI does not issue energy certificates: only a DPE drawn up by a certified assessor has regulatory value in France.
- Neither France Rénov' nor Anah. The grants shown are estimated from the public scales; eligibility and amounts are confirmed with France Rénov' and on the official simulator Mes Aides Réno.
- Not an official hazard statement. When one must be attached to a sale or a lease in France, it is drawn up for free on Errial (Géorisques).
- Scores, works costs, savings and grant amounts are indicative estimates — neither a quote nor a decision by a funding body.
How the site is funded
- Sales of the detailed report — see the terms of sale.
- A professional offer (in French): energy-certificate exit sheets for assessors and estate agencies.
- Affiliate links on some product cards. Commissions change neither the Product Compass grid, nor the points awarded, nor the order in which products are shown (Product Compass method).
